Miranda Lambert Rocks It at the CMT Artists of the Year Special
If you watched last night’s CMT Artists of the Year Special, you may have noticed that damn, Miranda Lambert is rockin’ it lately. This country superstar showed up to the annual event in a sleeveless white lace frock, looking better than ever before. To accompany the beautiful dress, she wore black pointed stilettos, while styling her hair down with a relaxed wave. Plain and simple, Lambert looked perfect.
At the special, Lambert took the mic to sing her hit, “Holdin’ On to You”. With this performance, she proved exactly why she was named one of the best artists of the year in this competitive genre of music. Lambert didn’t just show up to the event to take the stage, though, she also had to accept her award. I don’t know about you, but I love when Lambert has to give speeches. She always comes across so grateful and humble for everything she has. In her acceptance speech, Lambert even thanked her husband, Blake Shelton. She said, “I’m so nervous. I’m glad that’s over. Thank you, Ashley. Thank you, Danica, for being here. Thank you, CMT, for this amazing night in honoring everything we work for so hard all year and all the amazing artists. My husband, I always forget to thank him, but he’s my rock—Blake Shelton. He’s somewhere on TV right now, I think. But I appreciate it so much.” Aww, how cute!
This special definitely turned out to be Lambert’s night. She is one talented lady. However, I really have to go back to talking about Lambert’s appearance. She has done such a body transformation. I remember years ago the media loved calling her “fat”, and now she’s probably sitting around laughing at all the mean comments. You can tell that Lambert worked very hard for the body she has, with hours upon hours spent in the gym. She truly is a prime example that plastic surgery is not always the answer.
