Jennifer Lawrence’s Ad Campaign For Dior

As you may or may not know, Jennifer Lawrence has become the new face of Dior. In her latest ad campaign video, she offered some savvy advice on what it takes to be a strong woman, in typical Lawrence fashion. In the video, Lawrence poses with some stunning leather Dior bags while wearing a black suit, with her hair slicked back. You can hear some super serious music playing in the background, which is not quite what we’re used to from Lawrence. That’s because in recent behind-the-scenes stuff she’s been seen showing off her silly self, whether that’s eating pizza on a Dior set or tripping.

During the video, the 24-year-old actress gave her opinion on what it means to be a strong woman. Lawrence remarks, “A powerful woman is someone who exudes confidence and can be tough but fair and kind. And also knows how to get what she wants.” I completely agree with this. For as long as I can remember, Lawrence has always been someone who epitomized what it means to be a strong woman. This is especially apparent in recent times. After all, it was only a couple of weeks ago that Lawrence went under a media firestorm after nude photos of the star leaked online. However, it really does take a confident and strong woman to rise above all this and that’s exactly what Lawrence did.

In my personal opinion, I think it really helped that Lawrence has constantly surrounded herself with supportive friends. In fact, her “The Hunger Games” co-star Josh Hutcherson just spoke out last week on the whole nude photo fiasco. He told ET Canada that, “I  just think all that stuff is so ridiculous. We’re people too, man; we just want to live, we want to be normal people. It’s not fair.”

While I’m never going to be endorsing taking nude photographs of yourself, (come on now, use common sense, we live in a digital age) I have to say Lawrence really handled the situation well. She owned up to her mistakes, which to me is what really does make for a strong woman. Good choice in picking her as your new spokeswoman, Dior.
