Is Bethenny Frankel Too Thin?
There has been a lot of talk lately on whether or not The Real Housewives of New York City‘s star Bethenny Frankel is too thin. Normally, this cast is so cut-throat and out to get one another, but when it comes to Frankel’s weight the co-stars can’t help but support her.
When asked during an interview with E! News, Ramona Singer spoke candidly about Frankel’s appearance. Singer said, “She looks fabulous. She eats. She looks healthy. She’s fabulous. She’s fun. She’s exciting.” Countess LuAnn de Lesseps added to the interview by stating, “She’s always eating actually. She just eats and eats and looks that skinny. I hate her. In person she looks great. She looks fabulous.”
This isn’t the first time Frankel’s weight has made headlines. During a recent interview Frankel did with Andy Cohen on Watch What Happens Live, the SkinnyGirl creator was asked point-blank if she was too thin. Frankel made it clear that she definitely does not consider herself unhealthy. However, she did admit that she can sometimes look a bit on the skinny side. Frankel said, “When I’m very tired and stressed out, people think I’m more thin, and it’s always the times I feel like I’m really stressed out. I get black circles and my face looks drawn. I run around like a total maniac.”
Even though she has been thrown lots of criticism from viewers over the years, Frankel has no problem poking fun at her weight. In February, the 44-year-old reality star shard a photo of a skeleton hanging outside of a New York City store. Frankel made sure to caption the pic, “‘SPOTTED’ Bethenny Frankel hanging out in soho today…It’s a little chilly.'” Well, at least she can have a sense of humor about such a sensitive topic for many.
While eating disorders are nothing to joke about, it’s nice to see Frankel embracing her body. She may not have the perfect body, but she’s not letting her thin frame get to her. If you want to see more of Frankel, make sure to tune into the Real Housewives of New York City on Tuesday night. She’ll be returning this season after taking a leave of absence.
