Heidi Montag Puts an End to Her Plastic Surgery
Remember Heidi Montag? If not, let me refresh your memory. She was Lauren Conrad’s BFF on “The Hills” until she married Spencer Pratt. Once that happened, all bets were off and the two became sworn enemies. Since the scripted television show, I mean reality series, ended years ago, Montag has become better known for her over-the-top plastic surgery. However now, Montag is changing her tune about going under the knife. She has recently stated that she’s done with plastic surgery.
Five years ago, Montag was getting ten procedures performed in one day, but now she’s claiming that she’s “done with it all”. According to Montag, “I’m just done with all of it. I’m going to age gracefully and bow out.” Hmm…isn’t it a little too late for that? In a new interview with Extra, Montag discussed the various procedures she underwent in 2009 and how she feels about them now. In fact, she told the media outlet, that people now view her as “surgery girl” and how “that sucks.” Why did Montag get the surgery to begin with, then? She was clearly a beautiful girl, so why all the crazy procedures? Well, in the interview, Montag said, “I disliked myself so much. I literally chopped up my own body.” However, when asked what her biggest regret is, she revealed, “Getting my chin reduced, because I have TMJ now and my jaw hurts. I don’t think people do tell you the trauma of what you’re going to heal from. I was in so much pain, I actually thought I was going to die.” Let this be a life lesson, kids. Plastic surgery isn’t always worth the end result.
In the past, some of the procedures Montag had done included getting DDD implants, a mini brow life, a nose revision and pinning back her ears. Last year, though, Montag decided to go under the knife again to get a breast reduction. She said, “My implants were falling through. They were three pounds each so I was really miserable. Obviously, I didn’t want to go back into surgery, but it was really necessary.”
What do you make of all this?
