Frozen Wedding Dress to Become Available in 2015

Okay, so I along with the rest of the world fell in love with the movie “Frozen”. After all, what’s not to love? There were tons of catchy songs like “Let It Go” and “Do You Want to Build a Snowman”, characters voiced by major stars like Kristen Bell, Jonathan Groff and Idina Menzel, and a plot line unlike any other Disney movie.  Well, good news for fans of the movie who are getting ready to walk down the aisle.  There is a “Frozen” wedding dress currently in the works.

Disney Weddings announced earlier this week that they will partner with Alfred Angelo Bridal to create a wedding dress inspired by the movie, “Frozen”. The brand posted a picture on their Instagram account with the caption, “The rumors are true- meet “Elsa”, our Frozen-inspired wedding gown with @AlfredAngeloBridal! #Disney #Frozen #wedding #dress.” Alfred Angelo’s Chief Creative Officer, Michele Piccione is the one responsible for designing this stunning dress. When asked about the icy number, Piccione said, “A character like Elsa is a huge inspiration for any designer. She is beautiful and elegant, and her inner beauty shines through when she is ultimately not afraid to embrace who she is with confidence and poise.”

Based on the sketch, the dress itself has a sweetheart neckline and soft blue details. However, apparently the gown will be available in the colors ivory and pale blue. This “Frozen” inspired dress wouldn’t be the first Disney gown brought to us by Alfred Angelo Bridal. The company already has a Disney Fairy Tale Bridal collection in effect. As part of their 29-piece collection, there are gowns that have been influenced by Disney characters like Sleeping Beauty and Ariel.  This dress is said to be available beginning in January 2015.

Now, I enjoy Disney as much as the next person, but I don’t know how I feel about buying a wedding dress that has a princess theme. On my big day, I think I’d rather go much more classy and elegant in a traditional white, wedding gown.  What about you? Would you wear this “Frozen” dress?
